Founded in 1977, the Durham Avicultural Society of Ontario serves the area East of Metropolitan Toronto that is known as the Durham Region, but includes members in the GTA and the surrounding areas as well. Whether your interests lie with the breeding of rare or endangered parrots or simply with looking after a pet budgie or canary. DAS membership includes experienced breeders who have 300 or more birds in their aviaries - but it also includes members who are deciding which species is the best. Monthly meetings - except July and August. Monthly Bulletin. Informative Guest Speakers. Access to a members-only avian library. Leg bands.
