If you are interested in running for a position on the NFSS Board of Directors, please contact any current Board member for further information about any position you may be interested in see job description link below. Elected officers will be serving for year January 2020 through December 2021

The NFSS By-laws require that the Society have an election of Board Officers every two years. A ballot which includes all positions will be open for this election and the names of candidates running for each position. The General Election will be published in the July-September NFSS Journal. A announcement of the new officers will be announced at the 2020 National Bird Show (NFSS membership meeting) and printed in the NFSS Journal.

All votes must be received and counted  NO LATER THAN November 15th,  2019.  Dual members will each have one (1) vote each and will be allowed to copy the ballot or vote electronically (link below).

Please remember your membership must be in good standing – don’t allow an interruption in your active membership to interfere with your voting for your board members – check your journal cover for your renewal date and membership number (see mailing label on the journal cover), or email: membership@nfss.org.

If you renewing late please allow the Membership Director adequate time to process renewals and prepare the ballot mailing list. You will be provided with a ballot in the journal or an option to vote electronically on-line. It will be the member’s personal responsibility, if mailed, to make sure their ballot is returned and postmarked BY November 15th, 2019. By Email attach your ballot and email to electioncommittee@nfss.org
